Private dinner party on the beach

There is something so special about having the party of your dreams, we all want to someday celebrate a special occasion with our closest friends and that is exactly what we did, the difference is that it was a clients? 40th birthday, and I got to have all the fun.....  Setting up on the day had many curious onlookers inquiring if we were setting up for a film shoot...-

The request was for a very special yacht cruise for 12 guests and perhaps a dinner on the beach.  The setting: the awesome Knysna Lagoon, and beach at Bollard Bay (Leisure Island).  The brief was simple ?blow me away.”
And so began the planning for an awesome Moroccan party, complete with Bedouin tent, Belly Dancer, Flame Dancer, Arabian Music, Beach Fires, loads of lanterns, candles, garden torches and yes spectacular food- a four course dinner -Lamb and pear Tagine, -served in individual Tagines, amazing canapé?s, starters & dessert: - topped off by the most awesome birthday cake- A chocolate mousse cake with strawberry chilly truffles.  (Catering effortlessly created by Tammy & Candice from Hungry Heads)

The yacht cruise was finished off by an awesome sunset, getting the guests off the yacht onto the beach by tender was made a little difficult with the receding tide. But everything went smoothly and they were thankful for the beach fires, and strawberry chilly ?Mampoer? that helped warm their chilled hands and feet?.
The group of executives and international guests were by that stage quite jolly and the party took off with the arrival of the Belly Dancer.  Needless to say the evening resounding success the photo?s speak for themselves?..
